Disappointed, Not Surprised

A poll says fewer than 30% of Canadians plan to watch tonight's leadership debate. Considering everything that's going on in the world, I would have hoped that more people would be interested in the future of this country. They say the debate will be "boring". They say they are "just not interested". Instead, they plan on watching something more exciting - like reruns of CSI. As Canadians, we should at least have a passing interest - especially if we haven't yet decided who will get our vote. As for me, I've already decided. I'm going Green. Again. So instead, I'll be glued to the vice presidential debate. I want to see Palin implode and go down in a plume of idiotic flames. Then, I'll tune in to Lisa Nova on BlogTV.com so we can all have a richly deserved laugh.
