Bags of Bags

There are so many briefcases and tote bag options these days I thought it would be easy to find a new one. The bag I have is close to 10 years old and it's pretty tattered. I've been looking for a replacement but I can't find the same kind of bag. I want a full-sized messenger bag with a similar layout of pockets as the one I have. Instead of canvas, which I found doesn't age very well, this time I'm going with leather. I've been checking out luggage stores and e-bay. Nothing. It's the kind of daily-use item I can't compromise on so this may be a long search. (I also want it in black...and within my budget.)
