My Surprise Dinner Date

Last night, after feeding seven hungry critters, I sat down at the table for my dinner. (I whipped up a refreshing cranberry/mango smoothie.) Soon into it, I had the distinct feeling that I was being watched. I looked up and sitting across the table from me - head just visible, was Cole. She was sitting there quite happily, watching me. When I was finished, I went over to the sink and she wandered back downstairs. I think we'll be doing this again.
