I cast my vote on the weekend. Yay. I'm always glad to get that over and done. I like the advance polls. They're always empty so it's quicker than a convenience store. I decided a long time ago that I wasn't voting for Smitherman. (E-Health scandal and all.) But when I saw his signs - with their not-too subliminal message, I decided he was worse than I thought. When you see Smitherman's signs from a distance, they read: "Mayor George". That's far too presumptive for me. I think Toronto's next mayor needs to be a lot tougher than what we've had. That's why, for the first time in my entire life, I have a political sign in my front yard. It reads: "Rob Ford for Mayor".
