 The vacuum is cooling, the cats are poking their noses out of their corners, and once again the furniture is stationary. For now. For two days, my living room and studio floors have been a buffet of disparate stuff - knee high, but always with a clear path. If anyone ever showed up at my door and peered in, they'd have surely called the show "Hoarders" on me. (That's even after 3 trips to the Goodwill.) But, I'm quickly getting things wrapped up. Each time I pass by the buffet, I fill my arms with "like" items. Papers for recycling, guitar items, teaching materials, etc - all get dealt with immediately. When I need to go downstairs, I fill my arms from the "For Downstairs" pile - and vice versa. Now, the upstairs rooms just needs one final vacuum and they're done.
The living room is down to the last batch of head-scratcher items. When I get those cleared away I'll decide if I'm switching around the furniture. I still haven't decided...but what a difference in the studio! My desk is clear, everything's spotless and the closet is organized like a pharmacy. And, I can push buttons now instead of messing with patch cords. I must take some pictures...
