ATWOOD. She's a Canadian author - whose fans are some of the most ardent. Or, so I'm told. Anyway, she's not pleased that Toronto's Mayor had the NERVE to ask for expenditure cuts in the public library system. According to her recent piece in the Star, Atwood suddenly feels she is unwelcome in this city...
I read one of her books. When I was done, I wanted to throw it at her. (As far as I'm concerned, she's right.)
