Since filling up the bowls and unlocking the cat flap, food has been disappearing. They're getting inside, eating, then leaving again. There's no sign they spend any time there. And all that nicely insulated area around the cat door is gone. It got all chewed up - I suspect, by a raccoon too fat to fit through the flap, but with arms long enough to vandalize...
Okay, it's Sunday and I've just finished cutting 2 inches off the bottom of the garage door. Now, it closes! All those critters that have been using my garage as a no-tell motel finally have to move on. (I know of a lovely, 5-bedroom shed nearby that needs tenants...)
