Dressing Down

Halloween has never been my favourite "event". 364 days a year, kids are told: DO NOT to take candy from strangers. So, what's different about Oct. 31st? Do parents think that creeps take this day off? I'm all for kids dressing up and attending parties, but the days of safely going door-to-door have gone the way of the mullet. Sure, there are the lone hold-outs...but sooner or later they have to pass a mirror. Hopefully, they'll suddenly realise just how out of step they are with the rest of the world.
