It had been nearly 20 years since I saw my buddy Ed. He's a globe-trotter. I'm not. It took months of planning but we finally got together last night. He brought over his gorgeous Martin. He'd been having tuning problems with it, but a few minutes on my bench may have sorted it out. He seemed pretty happy with it afterwards. We planned to play tunes but there was just too much to catch up on. Then, there was the guitar tour - which took an hour. Before we knew it, he had to fly. But, it was great get-together...one we have promised to repeat.
