You know that scene in Jaws when they're chugging out to sea - seen through the jaw bone of a giant shark? Well, that's what my hand looks like. There's a perfect dental cast of a cat's bite in the meaty part of my thumb. It's a clinic in dental forensics! The swelling's gone but I still haven't picked up a guitar yet. The simple act of twisting a tuner sets off the fireworks. But, compared to the puffy useless flaps they were, my hands are much better. Now they just look like I was in a barfight...with a cat.
