As the semester winds to a close, I'm down to one more writing class. I've covered the importance of making sure you get the target listener to act. I've also covered how to determine which action the listener needs to perform in order to make the campaign a success (which in turn, leads to my REAL goal: ensuring the client will buy more radio). So...I've done my best. Now, it's up to each student to take what I've offered and apply it to their own writing.
