In less than 36 hours, my house went from clean and freshly vacuumed...to THIS!
The taped-on, falling off wallpaper has been getting under my skin. I pulled at a corner - to see how easily the wallpaper would come off. Early tests proved promising. It was practically falling off in sheets. The previous owner was as lousy at hanging wallpaper as he was at everything else. I was thinking this job was going to be a breeze...until I ran into the areas where he applied the wallpaper with contact cement! Naturally, these aren't areas I can reach from the floor. They are up in the farthest corners and require a ladder, a scraper, sandpaper...and a lot of patience.
