Movie Weekend

I needed a weekend to clear my mind and I think it worked. (Where was I...?) There's a row of shops downtown that cater to movie fans and collectors. Going from store to store on Saturday morning, I picked up two very rare books and six dvd's for $70. A trip through Honest Ed's was more for old time's sake...but I bought a couple of shockingly nice cotten shirts for $3.49 each.
Saturday afternoon was spent in my darkened TV room running the two "Thing" movies back-to-back. The new one has the special effects, but you can't beat John Carpenter's version for suspense. (They do make a nice couple though...)
