Glimmer of (TV) Hope

Okay - here's the latest: Repair would be more expensive than replacement so a brand new TV arrives this Saturday. Once again, glad we had the warranty. But before doing a straight swap, it made sense to shop around and maybe upgrade to better technology and a bigger size. Glad I did. After an hour of negotiations, I traded in our 3 year-old (faulty) 43" DLP TV for a brand new 52" LCD HD-TV - including delivery and a comprehensive, 5-year extended warranty. The difference in cost over a straight replacement was only $300 too - but the upgrade in "wow" factor will be stunning.
